No experience is required at all. LIC provides a free 25-hour IC-38 training programme that covers everything you need to know about insurance advising. You only need to have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) to be eligible.
Yes, and this is one of the biggest advantages. Your stipend is just the guaranteed base. Every policy you sell earns you a commission on top of it. There is absolutely no cap — the more you sell, the more you earn. Many Bima Sakhis earn well beyond the stipend amount through commissions alone.
The targets are structured to be achievable, starting with just 1 policy per month in the first 4 months. Your assigned LIC Development Officer provides regular mentorship, guidance, and marketing support to help you consistently meet and exceed your goals.
The exam is a 1-hour online Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test conducted on the NSE-IT platform. You need to score a minimum of 15 out of 50 marks to pass. After completing the free 25-hour training, most candidates find the exam straightforward and manageable.
